Apostille

This basic “Apostille” package includes everything required for the official marriage registration in Georgia, allowing you to receive a ready marriage certificate translated into one of the following languages:
- English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Greek, or Turkish,
with an official Apostille stamp confirming the authenticity of the document, issued on the next business day after the wedding.
For example:
- If your wedding is on Monday — the documents will be ready on Tuesday
- If your wedding is on Friday — the documents will be ready on Monday, as Apostille services are only available on business days
The official marriage registration takes place in the public hall of the House of Justice on weekdays.
This is a quick and formal procedure that requires minimal participation from you — simply to obtain an official document. There is no photography, videography, ceremonial speech, or fixed time for the registration. The timing depends on the workload of the House of Justice on your wedding day.

If you prefer a ceremonial registration at the registry office, where you can take photos, exchange rings during a formal speech, have a first dance, invite guests, etc., we offer another package: “Private Registration with Apostille.”
At every stage, you will be accompanied by our wedding planner, as all documents and procedures are conducted in Georgian. She will carefully check everything before you sign or receive any documents.

How it works
On the morning of your wedding day, you will submit your marriage application at the House of Justice together with our planner and witnesses. After submitting the application, you are free to enjoy your day — walk around the city, try Georgian cuisine, take photos, etc. We cannot specify the exact amount of free time, as it depends on the workload of the state authority. However, based on our experience, it’s best to plan to stay nearby around lunchtime. Typically, the registrar informs us after midday when your Georgian-language marriage certificate is ready. Once it is ready, we return together to the House of Justice to collect it.
After that, we handle the Apostille and translation into your chosen language (one of the eight listed above) without your presence. On the next business day, you will receive your completed marriage certificate with Apostille and translation by 6:00 PM.
In most cases, couples choose to translate their marriage certificate into English, as documents in English are accepted in all countries that are part of the Hague Convention. This allows for further translation into a local language if required. Depending on the specific country’s regulations, the certificate may also be accepted directly in English, meaning you may not need any additional translation.
